The umbrella and the projects

Ebbline is the company. The projects are the products. Each one has its own name, its own website, and its own audience, and each is built for a specific job rather than as a variation on the others.

Ebbline is the operating company for all of them — not a trading name for any single product. When you see a project described as "operated by Ebbline LLC", that is the company that builds it, hosts it, answers its support mail, and is responsible for it.

How projects are run

Projects are designed and developed in-house. Nothing listed here is white-labelled software or a resold service with a new name on it.

A project that ships is a project that keeps being maintained. Hosting, updates, and corrections are ongoing work, and a project stays listed on this site for as long as Ebbline operates it. If one is retired, the Projects page will say so.

Support goes to one address for every project, and it reaches Ebbline directly rather than an outsourced help desk.

Payments and statements

This site does not process payments. Where a project offers paid features, the charge is made by Ebbline LLC at that project's own checkout — for a one-time purchase, or when a recurring subscription starts. Some projects may also accept optional one-time tips.

Because Ebbline LLC is the operating company, those charges appear on card and bank statements as EBBLINE, rather than under the individual project's name. If a charge looks unfamiliar, that is usually why — and support can identify any charge for you.
